McLaughlin unlikely to make 53-man roster; Badie ahead on depth chart

The former UDFA RB is unlikely to make the 53-man roster. Tyler Badie, who was active ahead of him for most of last season, got the start and left the game while McLaughlin played into the 4th quarter. With Cody Schrader having an insane game and Badie appearing to have a better shot at the practice squad spot, the writing is on the wall that McLaughlin will be playing elsewhere this season. He did have a nice catch-and-run TD and showed off his speed, but the depth chart situation is unfavorable.
