Dippre waived after PUP return; 2 preseason catches.

The 24-year-old tight end from Alabama was waived by the Patriots. Originally signed as a rookie free agent last offseason, Dippre was promoted to the 53-man roster in November to prevent poaching and finished the year on the active roster. This year he started training camp on the PUP list and caught two preseason passes for 21 yards but did not survive the final cuts.
