Pride Of Detroit on Lucky Jackson

Jackson leads receivers with 5 catches, 94 yards in WR5/6 battle.

Jackson is competing for the WR5/6 spot and delivered a strong preseason finale performance. Despite an early gaffe where he blocked Sauce Gardner downfield on a play he thought was a run, contributing to Altmyer's first-drive interception, Jackson bounced back immediately. He created an explosive play on third-and-9 on the next drive, then hauled in a one-handed 35-yard catch on Detroit's final drive of the half, putting the Lions on the Colts' 2-yard line. Jackson was the leading receiver of the day, catching all 5 of his targets for 94 yards.
