Shane Buechele cut by Bills; likely headed to practice squad.

Shane Buechele is being released by the Bills and will not be kept on the 53-player roster. Despite a solid preseason finale performance—26 of 38 completions for 196 yards in a 28-27 win—the Bills are moving forward with Josh Allen as starter and Kyle Allen as backup. Buechele will likely be brought back on the practice squad if no other team claims him.
