STACKED’s take
Shough's late-season efficiency and rushing upside make him a late-round QB1 candidate.
Shough is a wonderful late-round quarterback sleeper who could be a QB1 in 2026. Last year in Weeks 12-18, he was the QB6 in fantasy points per game while averaging 25 rushing yards per game, a mark that would have placed him 12th-best had he maintained it for the entire season. In that span, among 30 qualifying quarterbacks, Shough ranked 12th in yards per attempt and highly accurate throw rate, ninth in hero throw rate, and seventh in passing yards per game (per Fantasy Points Data). With Travis Etienne, Bryce Lance, Oscar Delp, and Jordyn Tyson added to the Saints offensive firepower this offseason, the Saints offense is expected to take another leap, and Shough's strong finish to last season suggests he is primed for the task.
