The Jaguars needed a goal-line thumper to complement their explosive runner (Bhayshul Tuten) and pass protector (LeQuint Allen). Rodriguez graded well in that role last season on the Commanders, and he was more of a true bellcow under coach Liam Coen when they were together at Kentucky.

STACKED’s take

Positive signalRole

Rodriguez fills Jaguars' goal-line role under Coen, who values his power.

Rodriguez (ADP 130) is a goal-line back for the Jaguars. He graded well in that role last season on the Commanders and was more of a true bellcow under coach Liam Coen when they were together at Kentucky. Coen clearly values Rodriguez's consistent, powerful style, and the Jaguars needed a goal-line thumper to complement their explosive runner (Bhayshul Tuten) and pass protector (LeQuint Allen).
