Joly waived after camp struggles; raw rookie TE behind depth chart despite TD highlight.

5th-round rookie TE struggled throughout Broncos training camp, started a camp scuffle, and consistently played with the third-team offense in preseason before being waived. His lone highlight was an 88-yard TD catch from Sam Ehlinger in the preseason finale, but GM George Paton noted he was raw, missed much of the offseason, and fell behind other tight ends—a position typically tough for rookies. Paton acknowledged Joly is talented and expected to have a nice career, but the Broncos opted for 7th-round rookie Dallen Bentley on the 53-man roster instead.
