Sanders likely odd man out if Browns claim Milton; lost two consecutive QB competitions.

The source indicates that if the Browns claim Joe Milton on waivers, Shedeur Sanders would likely be the odd man out and potentially traded or released. Sanders lost quarterback competitions to Joe Flacco and Dillon Gabriel in 2025, and then to Deshaun Watson in 2026 with a new coaching staff and added talent around him, suggesting the Cleveland organization is not high on Sanders' prospects.
