Yahoo Fantasy Football on Brock Purdy

Purdy best used as streamer; 49ers receiver injuries limit ceiling.

Purdy had a torrid stretch during last year's fantasy playoffs, reminding managers not to discount him as potential top-tier fantasy talent. However, the source recommends targeting him as a steady streamer best trusted when not facing elite defenses, against which he typically struggles. The 49ers' receiving corps injuries—Ricky Pearsall out for the year and veterans Mike Evans and George Kittle recovering early in the season—could limit his ceiling.
