NeutralRole

Slayton's role unclear despite recent production and mentorship value to Nabers.

Slayton's role on the Giants remains unclear despite being retained on the roster. He is not far removed from leading the team in receiving yards in back-to-back seasons with 724 yards in 2022 and 770 in 2023, and has been an invaluable mentor to Malik Nabers, clarifying responsibilities in the huddle. He is one receiver injury away from being featured in the rotation again and has proven he can perform when given the opportunity, but the question is how much longer he'll remain with the team.
