Pat Fitzmaurice highlights Shough as a late-round target after his impressive 2025 rookie campaign. Shough took over as Saints starter in Week 9 and posted a 5-4 record, averaging QB12 fantasy points per game from Week 9 through season's end with at least 17.1 fantasy points in each of his last six starts. He completed 67.6% of passes, averaged 7.3 yards per attempt, posted 10 TD passes and six interceptions, and added 16.9 rushing yards per game with three rushing TDs. Only one opponent (Rams) ranked top-10 in pass DVOA, and the Saints drafted WR Jordyn Tyson No. 8 overall to support him, though Tyson will miss early-season time with a hamstring injury.
