Josh Jacobs on exempt list; Packers preparing contingency plan for his absence.
Packers GM Brian Gutekunst said the organization hasn't seen the surveillance video in Jacobs' domestic violence case and disclosed the team will have a contingency plan in place if the three-time Pro Bowler isn't available this season. Jacobs was placed on the commissioner exempt list Sunday, more than three months after his May 23 arrest; he was charged Thursday with misdemeanor battery and misdemeanor criminal damage to property. The criminal complaint alleges he grabbed a woman and threw her to the ground at his home. While on the exempt list, Jacobs cannot practice or play, though he may participate in other team facility activities. The NFL has not yet suspended him.
