Pacheco was placed on injured reserve by the Lions ahead of Week 1 against New Orleans. Initially dealing with a knee injury during training camp, coach Dan Campbell revealed the primary concern shifted to a back injury in the final week of practices. Campbell stated, 'It's been a little touch and go right now. He's had a little bit of a back (injury) and we're hoping he's coming out of this as of yesterday a little bit.' Pacheco is now ineligible to play or practice for Detroit's first four games of the season.
