Raiders GM John Spytek told reporters that Jeanty is expected to "be back as quick as he can" and "maybe quicker than some people would expect" from his ankle injury sustained during an Aug. 23 practice. Spytek expressed confidence in Jeanty's mindset and recovery trajectory, stating "I think he's in a good spot" and "I think he'll be ready to go when we get him back out there." Head coach Klint Kubiak previously described Jeanty's status as "on the mend." The 22-year-old Heisman Trophy runner-up is working to return ahead of the 2026 campaign after spraining his ankle while diving for a pass during practice.
