Yahoo Fantasy Football on Ja'Kobi Lane
From the article
Ravens rookie receiver Ja'Kobi Lane might already be at the destination. After going 80th overall to Baltimore, the USC product has been a training camp star, scored a highlight TD in the preseason and has made a major case to be the WR2 behind Zay Flowers.
STACKED’s take
Lane has training camp buzz and red zone upside in a pass-heavy Ravens offense.
Ravens rookie WR Lane, drafted 80th overall, has been a training camp star and preseason TD scorer with a strong case to be the WR2 behind Zay Flowers. At 6-foot-4, 205 pounds with a 40-inch vertical, Lane offers a skill set Flowers lacks and is positioned for red zone targets alongside Mark Andrews in an offense led by Lamar Jackson (6.5% career TD rate, highest in modern NFL history) and new OC Declan Doyle, a Ben Johnson disciple. Rashod Bateman, the incumbent, has never fully developed as a true No. 2 in Baltimore. Lane has a very early opportunity to cement a top depth chart spot in what could be the pass-happiest version of a Lamar Jackson offense ever; a late-round target with talent, opportunity, and elite QB play.
