Blogging The Boys on Camden Brown
From the article
As impressive as Camden Brown was in earning a roster spot, a meaningful role in 2026 remains unrealistic.
STACKED’s take
Camden Brown's camp success won't translate to meaningful 2026 role; developmental piece only.
Despite impressive camp performance earning a roster spot, a meaningful role in 2026 remains unrealistic. On game days, CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, Ryan Flournoy, and KaVontae Turpin will occupy the active receiver roster when healthy, with Jonathan Mingo also bringing greater special-teams value and reliable receiving contributions. Brown would need to prove himself against starting-caliber defenders rather than camp competition fighting for final roster spots. Consider Ryan Flournoy's solid but modest 35-reception season as the team's third receiver last year as a realistic ceiling. Brown remains a worthwhile developmental piece for the future but is far from ready for anything approaching a supporting role this season.
