I threw out the idea of having Aidan O'Connell as the QB2 while Mendoza is the emergency QB...If the reason for sitting Mendoza is so that he doesn't get thrown into the fire before he's ready...it would make more sense for AOC to be the backup because he'd be the one to go in the game if Cousins gets injured...O'Connell, on the other hand, is younger and has starting experience to be more tradable if a team has a quarterback injury.
