New York Giants second-year QB Jaxson Dart ranks 21st in the NFL per The Athletic's QBI metric with a score of 100, matching the average starter caliber threshold. QBI is a forward-looking quarterback efficiency metric using play-by-play data, adjusted for context and opponent, that credits only what the QB provides on a per-play basis by accounting for passes, rushes, scrambles, sacks, turnovers, pressure quality, offensive line and receiver quality, drops, yards after catch, EPA, success rate, and PFF grades. Dart's 100 grade places him among elite company alongside Jalen Hurts and Jared Goff, and he ranks second among 2025 rookie QBs behind Tyler Shough (103).
