The second-year running back has been sidelined for two weeks with a right ankle injury sustained on Aug. 24 and did not participate in Monday's practice. Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel expressed cautious optimism about his status, saying "We'll see how he feels today. We'll see if he can do anything. He's been working extremely hard to come back, and we'll see where that goes here today. We do have a few more days before, but we'll see what he's able to do today." Henderson has not been ruled out for the season opener.
