Yahoo Fantasy Football on Brock Purdy

Rams' elite defensive additions and Purdy's new WR corps warrant benching in Week 1.

Purdy is facing a tough matchup against a Rams defense that added Myles Garrett, Aaron Donald and Trent McDuffie to the fold, among others, during the offseason. He also has a new-look receiving corps, highlighted by Mike Evans and De'Zhaun Stribling, and is set to play his season opener in Australia. The source recommends waiting and seeing what Purdy can do before starting him in Week 1.
