Gadsden faces competition but Moorman sees buying opportunity at TE10 value.

Oronde Gadsden II has had a brutal offseason for his fantasy outlook after flashing as a rookie and posting four straight weeks of five or more receptions and 60+ yards, which skyrocketed his dynasty value into a range similar to Sam LaPorta and Tucker Kraft. However, training camp and preseason have given bearish news: Los Angeles signed two tight ends, David Njoku and Charlie Kolar, both of whom have been getting first-team reps ahead of Gadsden. Jim Moorman is not giving up on Gadsden nor buying into the hype of his competition. Njoku is a 30-year-old injury-prone tight end who relies heavily on athleticism and typically falls off a cliff once older. Kolar is a blocking tight end who spent four seasons behind Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely in Baltimore; Gadsden had more receiving yards in Week 7 last year than Kolar had in any single season of his career. Moorman doesn't see these two keeping Gadsden off the field, especially under offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel, who loves to feed explosive playmakers. Moorman still has Gadsden as TE10 overall in dynasty and believes now is a tremendous time to buy low, likely for a mid-to-late second-round rookie pick.
