I'm not running Mitchell out there in Week 1 in a fantasy lineup unless we're talking about a deep dynasty league where you're scraping the bottom of the barrel.

Mitchell's poor production and limited preseason usage make him a fade for Week 1 outside deep leagues.
After joining the Jets last year, Mitchell saw a 23.6% target share and 30% first-read share but produced only 37.6 receiving yards per game and 1.37 yards per route run. This preseason, he saw only two targets with a 13.0 aDOT. The source expects him to be the field stretcher for the Jets' passing attack. The Titans overhauled their secondary but allowed the fifth-most deep passing yards per game and second-highest deep adjusted completion rate last year. The source is not confident those stats will be sticky for 2026 and is not running Mitchell out there in Week 1 unless in a deep dynasty league.
