Dart must relearn under-center mechanics after college and rookie shotgun reliance.

Dart played almost his entire college career in shotgun and was drafted into an offense that ranked sixth in shotgun usage (76.5 percent) as a rookie. However, new offensive coordinator Matt Nagy will ask him to play under center much more frequently. In the preseason, the Giants offense was only in shotgun on 46.6 percent of snaps, indicating a significant shift. Dart will have to relearn footwork and timing in Nagy's offense, and while there may be growing pains, they'll be necessary for career longevity.
