Stafford's Week 1 performance against San Francisco raised serious age and decline concerns. He threw an interception on his first pass to Fred Warner, airmailed long passes with little effectiveness outside 10 yards, and easily could have finished with three or four interceptions. He failed a critical fourth-down QB sneak at the goal line, a play he has never executed well despite its offensive advantage. Stafford looked very limited on the run, particularly limiting in the red zone.
