Daniels faces new scheme demand: throwing over the middle more often.

Daniels will face a significant offensive scheme change under coordinator David Blough. Unlike Kliff Kingsbury's system which worked outside the numbers and relied on receivers winning one-on-one matchups (as Daniels did at LSU with Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr.), Blough's offense will attack the middle of the field more often.
