Daniels struggled early vs. Eagles secondary but found late-game rhythm in comeback attempt.

In Week 1 opener vs. Philadelphia, Daniels had a tough time working the ball downfield to his best receivers early; the Eagles' talented secondary limited passing options and the offensive line had some tough moments forcing Daniels to scramble. However, he found stride late in the game, converting a third-and-14 with a 33-yard connection to Antonio Williams early in the fourth quarter and leading a comeback attempt that cut the deficit to 17-16 before a failed 2-point conversion ended the comeback bid.
