Smith's Week 1 statistical output was modest, but the overall competence of his performance in the Jets' 23-10 road win over the Titans bodes well. Smith completed 19-of-24 passes for 220 yards with zero touchdowns or interceptions and zero sacks. The Jets have a good offensive line, wide receiver Garrett Wilson is a stud and Adonai Mitchell, Omar Cooper Jr. and Kenyon Sadiq are athletic young pass-catchers capable of making plays for their 35-year-old quarterback.
