He has been cleared to play but told the team he didn't feel ready to return yet. Roman Hemby suspects Penix might see action this week when the Falcons host the Panthers, given that Tua Tagovailoa is sidelined by an oblique injury and Cooper Rush struggled in Week 1 with one touchdown and two interceptions.
