Despite the Saints paying Etienne to be their lead back, Week 1 cast doubt on his value. He played 58% of snaps but handled only 43% of attempts with a lowly 38% route participation rate. Etienne squeaked out 14.8 fantasy points, boosted by the Saints running 86 plays (most in Week 1). His 16% target share was a plus and he played 68% of two-minute offense, but that could be Kamara's specialty upon his return. He was efficient with 4.7 YPC and 20% of attempts for 10+ yards, but the Week 1 utilization has Dwain McFarland's antennae up. Etienne downgrades to low-end RB2 status.
