Josh Jacobs' legal issues opened the door for the former third-rounder to assume a lucrative fantasy role, but his anonymous teammate Chris Brooks unexpectedly joined the party. To be clear, Lloyd handled much more important work than Brooks, who checked in for 82% of the long-down-and-distance snaps and 75% of two-minute snaps.

Brooks got situational snaps but lacks fantasy value; limited upside if Lloyd gets hurt.

Packers RB Chris Brooks unexpectedly joined the backfield mix in Week 1, but his role is limited and not fantasy-friendly. The 6-foot-1, 219-pound back checked in for 82% of long-down-and-distance snaps and 75% of two-minute snaps—situational work with minimal fantasy value. Brooks appears to be well ahead of RB3 Kaleb Johnson on the depth chart and is probably next in line if Marshawn Lloyd gets injured, but there is less upside here given Jacobs could return or Johnson could get up to speed.
