Goedert's 43-yard touchdown was not just the longest TD catch of his nine-year career (previous long was 36 yards from Gardner Minshew against the Jets in 2021) but the longest by an Eagles tight end since Brent Celek's 65-yarder in 2010. The multiple touchdown game was the sixth of Goedert's career, 4th-most among active tight ends (Travis Kelce 14, Mark Andrews 12, George Kittle 8) and tied with Zach Ertz for most by an Eagles tight end. Goedert is the first Eagles tight end with two touchdowns on opening day.
