Malik Willis was… ok. I don't think he played poorly overall, but there were some issues that need to be addressed... he took some bad sacks... Willis is going to take sacks that his predecessor never would because of how he plays... Willis also provides the rushing element that Miami has never truly had.

Willis played okay in debut but held ball too long, took sacks, and forced plays.

QB played 56 snaps (about 10% of his career total) in Week 1 start; source says he was "ok" overall but took some bad sacks, some attributable to poor blocking but others to his tendency to hold the ball longer than his predecessor; he made good throws but tried to play hero ball unnecessarily as game script got away from him; he provides rushing element Miami hasn't had outside occasional runs from Tannehill.
