Broncos quarterback Bo Nix, in his first game since breaking his ankle in the Divisional Round, struggled in his debut under new offensive coordinator Davis Webb. Nix looked sharper earlier in passing than Patrick Mahomes but made no impact as the game wore on. He threw a 19-yard touchdown pass to Evan Engram to tie the game in the first quarter, which was the last splash of any kind by Webb's offense. The Broncos were held to nine first downs and their ground game was non-existent, with the team losing 31-10 to the Chiefs.
