Nix's return from ankle injury disappointing; no consistency in loss

Nix, in his first game since breaking his ankle in the Divisional Round, never found consistent success in the Broncos' 31-10 loss to the Chiefs. While he looked sharper earlier in passing than Mahomes, it made no difference as the game wore on. Denver was held to nine first downs and its ground game was non-existent. Nix's 19-yard TD toss to Evan Engram to tie the game in the first quarter was the last splash of any kind by the Broncos offense.
