Brown out 4+ games with high-ankle sprain; Hollins and Douglas benefit.

The Patriots placed Brown on injured reserve with a high-ankle sprain, forcing him to miss the next four games with the soonest return being Week 6 when the Patriots host the Jets. Reports surfaced Monday stating that Brown will not require surgery. Mack Hollins stands to benefit in snap rate and route participation rate in his absence, although slot-man DeMario Douglas led the team in route rate in Week 1. There is a small possibility second-year receiver Kyle Williams is allowed to grow into the offense as a deep threat.
