Allen did not play in the Jaguars' Week 1 win over the Browns due to a hip injury. Although running back Bhayshul Tuten could take on a little extra receiving work, journeyman running back Ameer Abdullah is a potential replacement on passing downs, and big-bodied running back Chris Rodriguez's pass protection abilities were complimented by head coach Liam Coen.
