Pacheco out with back injury; Gibbs handled 34 of 37 RB touches Week 1.

Pacheco was placed on injured reserve to start the season with a back injury. Lions General Manager Brad Holmes said he 'hopes Pacheco returns this season,' which doesn't sound great and suggests there appears to be something more insidious going on with Pacheco's back than initially thought. Lions coach Dan Campbell said running backs Jacob Saylors and Sione Vaki could split touches behind Jahmyr Gibbs. Saylors appears to be the first player up. Gibbs handled an absurd 34 opportunities of 37 total running back opportunities in the team's Week 1 overtime win over the Saints.
