Shough's Week 1 performance was a tale of two halves: 18-of-28 for 179 yards, 1 TD, 2 INTs and a 55.0 passer rating through three quarters, then 17-of-23 for 231 yards, 2 TDs and a 134.5 passer rating in the fourth quarter and overtime. His fourth-quarter/overtime passing-yardage game (231 yards) was the second-largest in the entire 2025 season (only Josh Allen's 251 yards in Week 1 versus Baltimore exceeded it). The turnaround tracked directly with improved blitz handling (8-of-11, 79 yards, 3 TDs vs. the blitz after halftime) and downfield aggression (11-of-16 for 261 yards and a TD on 10+ air-yard throws). However, the Ravens on the road in Week 2 aren't nearly the same smash spot that Detroit offered, and his poor first-half performance raises his bust level considerably.
