Bo Nix looked like a rookie, plain and simple... His early interception was horrendous, unforgivable, and pathetic. He stared down the only option on that side of the field... The happy feet are back big time... Bo Nix's one biggest weakness is his reluctance to throw the ball over the middle, and yet another offseason went by without any evidence of work being done to address that weakness.

Bo Nix looked like a rookie in week 1; his early interception was horrendous and unforgivable, staring down his only option on that side of the field before throwing into perfect coverage. Happy feet returned in a big way. His biggest weakness—reluctance to throw over the middle—remains unaddressed despite an offseason to work on it, making him easy to defend when using only ⅔ of the field majority of the time. Wind conditions in 2nd and 4th quarters made him more timid about throwing over the middle or deeper downfield.
