Bo Nix's one biggest weakness is his reluctance to throw the ball over the middle, and yet another offseason went by without any evidence of work being done to address that weakness. It kinda makes it easy to defend the pass when your QB only uses ⅔ of the field the majority of the time.

Bo Nix's biggest weakness is his reluctance to throw the ball over the middle of the field; no evidence of offseason work to address this weakness was apparent, making it easy for defenses to defend the pass when Nix only uses two-thirds of the field the majority of the time. Wind conditions in the 2nd and 4th quarters exacerbated this tendency, making him more timid about throwing over the middle or deeper downfield.
