STACKED’s take

Positive signalValue

Hubbard's 71% snap share and RB9 finish make him reliable veteran value over Brooks.

Hubbard checked in at 71% snap share in Week 1 (one of only 12 RBs to hit 70%+), finished as the RB9, and was more effective as a runner and busier as a receiver than backup Jonathon Brooks (19% snaps). Hubbard had a successful run on 70% of his attempts and has given fantasy relevance before (RB15 in 2024). He's the boring veteran value to trust now—a Play for Today pick—while Brooks, despite exciting college moments, has dealt with two ACL blowouts and is at best a slow-developing option for later in the season.
