Burrow sat out Cincinnati's team stretch during Week 2 practice and did not throw meaningful passes in view of media, dealing with back soreness he classified as 'normal game day soreness.' Despite the limited practice participation, Burrow told reporters he plans to play Week 2 against Houston on Sept. 20, stating 'If I'm not getting surgery, I'm going to be out there' and dismissing the idea of sitting out as a precaution as 'ridiculous.' Paul Dehner Jr. reported Burrow was able to throw normally with backup Joe Flacco before the team stretch.
