Montgomery's awesome Week 1 is worth celebrating, and it's still worth pointing out that he is not a traditional bellcow. On tape, Montgomery certainly passed the test, but I wouldn't mistake him for a Pro Bowler. Sixteen-of-nineteen carries went for under five yards.

Montgomery is not a traditional bellcow; they largely rotated drives rather than switching out by situation, and Marks was trusted to be out there down six at the nine-yard line with 20 seconds to go. On tape, Montgomery passed the test, but shouldn't be mistaken for a Pro Bowler. Sixteen-of-nineteen carries went for under five yards.
