Speaking of week one duds, Jaylen Wadd, guys, Rams, Chargers, Broncos. Those are three performances that right now I'm going to write off as a bad day at the office. Okay, the good news for Jaylen Waddle was we saw him get used a lot in the slot. Shawn Peyton told his wife to draft Jaylen Waddle in fantasy football... Shawn Peyton's had a whole week to hear his wife bitching at him about Jaylen Waddle doing nothing

Positive signalProjection

WR17 with poor Week 1; expects bounceback due to Payton pressure.

Ranked WR17 for Week 2. Week 1 performance vs. Broncos written off as a bad day at the office. Positive signs: heavy slot usage and creative play-calling (backfield routes). Negative: Bo Nix's poor performance and 3.8-yard average target depth. Ian Hartitz expects bounceback sooner rather than later, partly because Sean Payton told his wife to draft Waddle in fantasy football, and after a week of hearing complaints about Waddle's lack of production, Payton is likely to increase his usage and target share to satisfy his wife and prove the draft pick correct.
