Third-round pick Lane showed early promise before injury; nearly scored Week 1.

Ja'Kobi Lane, a third-round draft pick, made an immediate impact during Ravens camp and the Week 1 season opener, demonstrating early promise as a rookie receiver. He was on the verge of scoring his first career touchdown in Week 1 before a holding penalty negated a 4-yard touchdown catch, suggesting he was already being targeted in the red zone and earning offensive opportunities early in his NFL career.
