Matthew Golden came out firing in Week 1 as WR17 with a 26.2% target share, 95 receiving yards (2.38 YPRR), three red zone targets, one deep target, and a 30.3% first-read share. In Week 2 against New York's pass defense, which utilized two-high at the tenth-highest rate (59%), Golden faces a tougher matchup. However, last year Golden was more utilized against two-high, with his target-per-route-run rate climbing from 14% (against single-high) to 21% and yards per route run increasing to 1.60 (1.34 vs. single-high). The Jets allowed the eighth-fewest yards per target to perimeter wide receivers while ranking 16th in fantasy points per target allowed to the position. The source believes Golden won't have an easy matchup but it's one he can possibly overcome.
