McLaurin's WR14 usage with Daniels supports bounce-back vs. Cowboys' communication issues.

McLaurin was predictably shut down by Eagles DC Vic Fangio and elite CB1 Quinyon Mitchell in Week 1. Even with that dud, McLaurin is the WR14 on WR29 usage in games with Jayden Daniels. The top end of that outcome is very unlikely to repeat after running pure on touchdowns in 2024, but panic is not warranted. This week against Dallas is especially favorable; the Cowboys struggled with communication in Week 1 against the Giants, to the point Jaxson Dart had a +0.71 EPA per dropback.
