Rashi Rice absolutely nuked in my rankings. The concern coming into the season was that Rashi Rice would be replaced by Kenneth Walker. Rice was using as an extension of the running game. The Chiefs were 32nd, 32nd, and 32nd in explosive run rate. Guess what? First in the NFL in explosive run rate after Kenneth Walker's first game. Rice has basically just been replaced by Kenneth Walker.

Rice functioned as an extension of the Chiefs' running game, but Kenneth Walker's arrival has fundamentally changed the team's offensive approach. The Chiefs improved from 32nd in explosive run rate (including two of the worst seasons in NFL history in 2024-2025) to 1st in the NFL after Walker's first game. Rice's role is now much less valuable; the source expects him to have 'a bunch of two reception for 19 yard games' going forward, though cannot rank him too much lower.
