The source identifies Darnell Mooney as a drop candidate to make roster space, either for a waiver-wire tight-end upgrade or to wait for a Kyler Murray injury update. The source also prefers cutting Mooney to pick up other receivers like Devon Veil or handcuff options like Emit Johnson, suggesting Mooney is a lower priority on the roster relative to available alternatives.
