Hogs Haven on Dallas Goedert

Goedert's 43-yard TD catch and five-yard micropass show dual-role usage in Eagles' new scheme.

Dallas Goedert caught a 43-yard touchdown strike from Jalen Hurts in Week 1 against Washington, accounting for more than half of Hurts' total passing yards in the game. Goedert also caught one micropass for five yards in the Eagles' short-yardage passing game. The Eagles' new offensive coordinator Sean Mannion has reimagined the micropassing game with more motion and under-center formations, but the Eagles have blocking and timing issues to work out, including play designs that may not be optimal for Goedert's role.
